Seriously... did he really say that? Unfortunately the answer is yes. And, although I know he's repeating a comment that either Bush or McCain has said in the past (there is some discrepancy out there as to who initially made that comment when referring to Hillary Clinton's health care plan), Obama's timing couldn't be worse - for him. Come on, politicians: SOUND BITES - you should know about those by now!!!
It's GREAT for the McCain-Palin team though.

Funny!
I think he knew full well that the cliche would have a more pointed meaning since Palin's speech. It was either an intentional insult (A greater likelihood, seeing how the crowd hooted about it right away) or just plain stoopid.
